Smoky Mountain Lodge is truly a remarkable, large, luxurious Mountain Chalet, conveniently located in the City of Gatlinburg and only a fifteen minute walk to downtown with its variety of restaurants, shops and other activities. The interior is just gorgeous with its massive Chalet windows, extensive wood treatments, animal theme decor, modern yet unique and charming rustic ambience and all of the comforts and amenities to take full advantage of your precious vacation time. One quest commented that it has a real “WOW” factor (we get many return guests). Why settle for just a house?
The tri-level arrangement has a large Living Area and Master Bedroom on the main level, 3 Bedrooms, Game Room and outdoor Hot Tub on the floor below and the 3 Bedrooms and separate indoor Jacuzzi room on the floor above. Large groups can be together and enjoy each others company, but also spread out for comfort. The log lined Great Room is spectacular with 3 story Chalet windows, cathedral ceiling, wood burning stone fireplace, wood staircase to upstairs, 60 inch TV, large chandelier, large comfortable sofas, and glider chairs. It opens to the spacious Dining Room and fully equipped Kitchen, and to the Upper Deck area. The log lined Game Room has a pool table, air hockey, stereo, TV and opens to the Lower Deck area with the Hot Tub. There are 4 King Bedrooms, 3 Queen Bedrooms, 1 Sleeper Sofa, twin bunk, 5 baths, 8 TV’s and several DVD players and VCR’s.
Enjoy the breathtaking view looking down on the City of Gatlinburg and its Space Needle spread out below you with Ski Mountain in the background. Sit on either of the decks, or in the Hot Tub, with the sparkling lights of the City below at night after most views are gone, or watch the moon over Gatlinburg from inside through the Chalet windows.
Great for large families, church groups, business retreats, meetings and weddings. Convenient location for those who want to “Go to the Mountains” and still have easy access to the entrance to Smoky Mountain National Park (park entrance is just blocks away), catch the tram to Ober, be conveniently located in Gatlinburg with Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Outlet Malls, etc just minutes away; and who don’t want to have to make multiple trips daily up a long narrow, winding mountain road to get to their accommodations, especially at night.
