On September 27, 2012, visitors to Gatlinburg can be treated to some of the best cuisine this area has to offer at the annual Taste of Autumn event. For a donation of only $25, guests are treated to unlimited food samples from 17 area restaurants. Live entertainment is also provided at this event, which takes place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center from 5 pm to 8 pm. Now in its fifteenth year, Taste of Autumn is held each fall as a fundraising event. All of the proceeds from this special tasting go to benefit United Way Sevier. None of the proceeds are held back to cover the operating expenses of the United Way, so guests can feel confident knowing that all of their donation money will be spent wisely. A complete list of food vendors is not available at the present time, as signups are still ongoing. Some of the participants last year were:
