It’s finally summer in the Great Smoky Mountains, and that means everyone’s favorite Pigeon Forge water park is back in business! Dollywood’s Splash Country is officially open for the 2014 season. When is Splash Country open?
Dollywood’s Splash Country will be open from now until September 1st, with the exception of August 18 – 22 and 25 – 29. The water park’s hours are currently 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. From June 14 – August 3, Splash Country will close at 7:00 p.m.
What should I wear to Splash Country?
Swimsuits are the only clothing allowed on the rides, so be sure to dress for the occasion. Glasses and sunglasses must be secured to your head with a strap so you don’t lose them on one of the water slides. Footwear isn’t allowed on any of the rides, unless you’re wearing water shoes. Also, don’t forget your towel!
What’s new at Splash Country?
Splash Country has just unveiled RiverRush, Tennessee’s first water coaster! This exciting new ride combines everything you love about roller coasters with the wet and wild fun of a water slide. With tunnels, turns, and plenty of surprises, RiverRush is an exhilarating addition to Splash Country’s collection of rides.
